Criminal Justice Summit

Registration includes attendance at all Summit sessions, day catering and Monday evening's Welcome Reception at Parliament. The Summit itself is free to attend but you will need to make your own arrangements for travel and accommodation. If cost is a barrier to attending the Summit please get in touch at 

Complimentary transport to and from the Summit venue, Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua, from the Wellington CBD, is also available. Please indicate at the time of registration if you wish to take advantage if this. There will be two pick up locations (Wellington Train Station and Grand Mecure Hotel) and the buses will depart at 7:30am on Tuesday and 8.00am on Wednesday.

Interpretation services and hearing loop can be made available to allow you to fully participate in the Summit. Please indicate in the registration form if these, or other tools, would be useful for you. Organisers will endeavour to meet all special and dietary requirements as indicated in the registration forms.

Confirmation of attendance at the summit will be made in early August. You will be advised by email of the result of your application. We recommend that you wait until you have received this confirmation before making any travel arrangements.

Cancellation Policy

Should you wish to withdraw your expression of interest or need to cancel your attendance, please notify in writing as soon as possible.

You are registering your interest to attend the full, two day Summit. Attendance for one day is not permitted. If accepted, there is no registration charge to attend the Summit, however, should you cancel for any reason you are responsible for fees incurred for accommodation and transport booked on your behalf. Registrations are non-transferable.

 If, for reasons beyond the control of Ministry of Justice, the Summit is cancelled, you will be notified in writing.

Submission of your Expression of Interest indicates your acceptance of these conditions.



The information supplied via the online registration process will be shared and used by Ministry of Justice and the Summit organisers. The Privacy Act 1993 requires that, before your name and organisation details can be published in the list of delegates either for distribution to fellow delegates or any other party, you must give your consent. Unless you advise during the registration process, or by emailing Raewyn Tse, Event Manager (, your name and organisation will be included on the list of delegates distributed at the Summit.
